And this book is storming the nation? I thought it was good but not great. It reminded me of a book like John Grisham's The Firm. Really thought that since it was written by a foreigner that it would be a bit more deep but alas it was not. In fact it was pretty graphic it parts and ultimately it really didn't do much for me. Books like this really turn me away from popular fiction. You would think that only the good stuff rises but I guess not. The question for me is do I finish out the trilogy? Probably will just see what happens with the main female character who is quite a piece of work.
