What [people] admired above all was the visible logic of this structure....logic translated into something visible...an abstract and algebraic beatuy...."And there you have it. Great book...so much more than just about the tower. Great stories on Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and the World's Fair. Really a magical time of changes and the Eiffel Tower really showed the world that the old pre industrial world was dead and what the new world would be.
