Stephen Hunt - The Court of the Air

An interesting read to say the least. Really enjoyed the first half. A real good steampunk feel. Great characters, interesting mystery, and good flow. Then disaster struck...as in what happened to the Matrix trilogy (movies). Great ideal that transformed into some sort of whacky quasi religious tome of just plain insanity. Maybe call me shallow but couldn't really figure how this all fit into the steampunk genre. It basically lost me...while still good and I will probably read on I can't say the the middle two-thirds did a lot for me.
