Wicked

For a Mother's Day present I got tickets to Wicked for my wife. To be honest I knew nothing about the musical beforehand...all I knew was it was a pre-story to the Wizard of Oz dealing with the two witches. Haven't seen a musical in forever. Saw Cats, Les Mis, Miss Saigon, and Rent but nothing lately. Enjoy the live stage just not very versed in the nuisances of it all. So with not much expectations I thought the show was fantastic especially the tying together of the Wizard of Oz. A very thought provoking underlying plot especially with comparing and contrasting what evil is. The singing the dancing was very good and the two leads do a wonderful job especially the good witch. She had a great range. Overall a great evening at the theatre!
