Okay everyone has to have that one author, that one pulp read that is just plain fun. Cussler fits that bill and Dirk Pitt is that pulp hero. I have read pretty much every book of his. The writing is pretty much the same for the last 10 books. He starts with some historical bit of mystery and somehow writes in a story. This one has to do with Vikings and Jules Verne. Overall nothing earth-shattering but for airplane traveling it fits the bill. You can't go wrong with Pitt. Funny how I missed some reads and read them out of order. This one tells me how Dirk meets his kids and whose kids they were!
