Ian Flemming - Octopussy and Living Daylights

Okay there was no real reason to read this...I was just curious after reading Casino Royale. This "book" is basically just 4 short stories. Octopussy is just about a simple story about a retired military soldier who had a sordid pass, Portrait of a Lady about a double agent being paid by a Faberge egg (hmm wasn't this the actual plot to the movie, Octopussy?), then Living Daylights which is basically Bond being a sharpshooter, and finally Bond in New York which was just a weird short story...but a neat recipe for Bond eggs...anyway I wouldn't bother wasting time to read it...it is interesting how they can make a movie based on a single thread from some obscure plot in some 20 page short story!
